The
Chamber is involved in many activities and events throughout the
South Sioux City area. Some of the more notable ones are:
Governor’s Day:
A yearly bus
trip to Lincoln, NE to discuss issues that are important to our area
of the State. The highlight of the day includes a luncheon, often
with the Governor, Lt. Governor, and most of the Senators attending.
Annual Banquet:
Our annual
banquet is an evening dedicated to recognizing and awarding members
of the community in a variety of capacities. It is a great
opportunity to socialize and interact, as well as reflect on the
accomplishments of the past year.
Community
Cookout:
A summer tradition at it’s best.
Enjoy spending time with Chamber members, as well as others from the
community, while enjoying great food. Our 2008
event will take place Saturday, July 26 at the Knights of Columbus Hall
(Air Conditioned Building) located at 1805 W. 29th Street in South
Sioux City, from 5pm-7:30pm.
Serving: Brats, Corn on the cob, & Ice cream.
Refreshments available for purchase.
Activities include: Dunk Tank, Golf Shoes, &
Toilet Shoes
Tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at the door.
All children under 5 are free.

Golf Outing:
This annual event is a great way
to take a break during the work week to hang out, play a round of
golf, win some prizes, and enjoy dinner with friends and business
contacts. Our 2008 event will take place Wednesday,
September 10, with a rain of Wednesday, September 17.
